The Importance of Local & Organic Foods

Best: Locally grown yourself with organic methods

Very Good: Locally grown organics from an independent health food store (NOT Whole Foods), neighbor, farm, farmer’s market, or CSA (community supported agriculture)

Produce from any other source is going to be questionable, likely coated with waxes, sprayed with pesticides, coated with fungicides, and it may even be genetically modified.
